A video making the rounds on social media shows a man in an AMBO T-shirt giving money to a group of women.

In the video, which went viral on Thursday, the young man is seen handing out N1,000 notes to the women.

This comes as the All Progressives Congress (APC) holds a big rally in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State. The rally supports their governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, also known as AMBO. This event happens just days before the governorship election on August 15, 2026.

At the rally, Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole spoke about the party's commitment to peace. He urged voters to use their votes and avoid violence.

“Let’s be clear, we are a party of peace, which is why we are called progressive. The only ink we need is the black ink for you to put your thumbprint on, not anybody’s blood,” Oshiomhole said.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio also addressed the crowd. He urged Oyebamiji to focus on changing Osun State if he wins the election.

“You must transform Osun State. As soon as you are elected on Saturday, once you are sworn in, you must begin the progressive movement,” Akpabio said.

“You must show the people that what they need is dividends of democracy; they don’t need social media.”

The video appears during a time of increased political activity. There are worries about vote-buying, intimidation, and violence as Saturday's election approaches.
