Aminat Akinsola, a person with disability, shared her joy on Saturday. She spoke about the special care she received while voting in the governorship election in Osun State.

Ms Akinsola voted at Ejigbo Ward 4, Unit 6. She felt happy about the attention given to her because of her disability.

"I’m so happy because I was treated with respect while I was trying to cast my vote. I was even the first person to be accredited," she said.

She praised the peaceful voting process. She hoped the election results would show what the people of Osun really want.

Security Measures

Security agents were present at the polling unit. They worked to keep order and made sure every voter could cast their votes.

Young adults were grouped by gender. This was to avoid any disruption during the voting.
