Kano Governor Calls for Support for Tinubu's 2027 Election

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has asked people in the state to support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. He believes the President deserves strong backing for his work in developing Kano and Nigeria.

Yusuf made this statement on Wednesday at the Government House in Kano. He was presenting a Certificate of Return to Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo, the newly elected member of the House of Representatives for Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency.

The governor's spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, shared this information in a statement. Yusuf said that the good relationship between the Kano State Government and the Federal Government has brought many benefits to the state.

He stated, "The people of Kano State have every reason to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His commitment to the development of Kano and Nigeria has shown that he deserves overwhelming support from our people."

Yusuf also mentioned that the partnership between the Kano State Government and the Federal Government has helped with important infrastructure and development projects. He said, "We have seen clear support for key infrastructure and development projects in Kano. President Tinubu has demonstrated leadership and commitment to national unity, progress and the welfare of citizens."

The governor urged political leaders, stakeholders, and supporters in the state to stay united and strengthen ties with the Federal Government. He said, "I urge all political leaders, stakeholders and supporters across Kano State to remain united and committed to strengthening this partnership for the benefit of our people."

Yusuf congratulated Nagogo on his win. He expressed confidence that Nagogo would provide quality representation for the people of Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency.

He also promised that his administration would work with the Federal Government to carry out policies and programs that would improve the living conditions of citizens.
