Maduka University Gets Full NUC Accreditation for All Programs

The National Universities Commission (NUC) carried out an accreditation check for some programs at Maduka University in Ekwegbe-Nsukka from October to December 2025. After the review, the University got a great result. All seven programs that were up for accreditation got Full Accreditation Status.

The programs that received accreditation are:

• Accounting
• Mass Communication
• Computer Science
• Cyber Security
• Software Engineering
• Economics
• International Relations

The scores for these programs were between 84.8% and 97.0%, well above the required standard for Full Accreditation.

According to the NUC’s official results, all the programs assessed achieved Full Accreditation. None of the programs got Interim or Denied Accreditation.

The accreditation for all seven programs will last until 2030. This shows that the University continues to meet national quality standards.

The accreditation panels noted many strengths at the institution, including:

• Strong academic curriculum and program delivery.
• Compliance with the Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS/CCMAS).
• Good library services and learning resources.
