Nigeria Reports Two New Possible Ebola Cases in the North-east
The NCDC has reported two new suspected Ebola cases in North-east Nigeria. Both individuals are in isolation while laboratory tests are conducted.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has announced two new suspected cases of Ebola in the North-east of Nigeria.
The agency shared this update on its official X account on Saturday. It mentioned that both people are in isolation while officials work to identify and list their contacts.
"Laboratory testing is being conducted," the NCDC stated. They also clarified that being labeled as suspected cases does not mean the individuals have Ebola. Confirmation will come from laboratory results.

The NCDC is urging everyone in Nigeria to keep good hand hygiene and practice better sanitation. They advised people to follow the guidance from health authorities.
This news comes just 11 days after Nigeria reported its first case of Ebola disease linked to the Bundibugyo virus.
