In a statement released on Saturday, the command’s spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said this operation is part of the command’s smart, intelligence-based approach. It aims to stop criminals from having safe places, disrupt their networks, and prevent crimes like kidnapping and armed robbery.

Ikenga stated, "The operation, led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, ACP Harrison Oruruo, involves personnel from other security agencies and Aguanachemba operatives."

He explained, "It is part of the Command’s smart, intelligence-based approach to stop criminals from having safe spaces, disrupt their networks, and prevent crimes like kidnapping and armed robbery."
