Priest Leads Church in Song Supporting Peter Obi and Kwankwaso
A Catholic priest has led his congregation in a song supporting Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. The video, sung in Igbo, is gaining attention online.

A Catholic priest has been recorded leading his church in a song that supports Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, during a service.
A video showing the priest as he led the congregation in the song, sung in Igbo, has been making rounds on X.
“NDC, NDC Ka mma. Party Peter Obi ka mma; Party Kwankwaso, ka mma!” the congregation sang along with the priest in Igbo.
The lyrics suggest that the NDC, which is Obi and Kwankwaso’s party, is a better choice for voters.

The video has been circulating since Sunday and shows that the event took place inside a Catholic church.
As of now, the name of the parish and the identity of the priest are still unknown.
Since the song was sung in Igbo, it likely indicates that this Catholic church is in the South-east, where Obi comes from.
