The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced a new 155-member Campaign Advisory Council on Tuesday. This council will guide campaign efforts for the 2027 presidential and governorship elections in the state.

Governor Abba Yusuf will lead the council as its chairman. The team includes notable figures like former Governors Ibrahim Shekarau and Abdullahi Ganduje. Also part of the council are three former military administrators from the state: Habibu Shuaibu, Lawan Jafaru-Isa, and Yakubu Bako.

Umar Doguwa, the chairman of Kano State APC, highlighted that the council includes important members.
