Ekiti Leaders Push for Tinubu's 2027 Victory

All Progressives Congress leader in Ekiti State, Senator Ayo Arise, has urged the party’s leaders and members in the state to come together. He wants them to work hard to ensure President Bola Tinubu wins big in the 2027 general elections.

Arise mentioned Tinubu’s successes, like economic changes, fixing infrastructure, improving security, the student loan scheme, and giving hope to Nigerian youths. He believes these achievements make Tinubu’s re-election necessary to build on what has been done.

The former senator shared his message in a statement on Thursday in Ado Ekiti. This came as the APC Presidential Campaign Council was in the state to push for Tinubu’s re-election.

During the campaign, Vice President Kashim Shettima encouraged Ekiti people to ensure at least 90 percent of the votes in the 2027 presidential election go to Tinubu.

Arise called on his supporters in Ekiti North Senatorial District and across the state to start strong and active mobilization for the party. He said they need to work hard for a landslide victory for President Tinubu. "He is the only leader needed to transform the country,” he stated.

He added that the importance of unity and grassroots mobilization cannot be overstated at this time. "Ekiti must speak with one voice in support of the President’s continuity,” he said.

Arise emphasized that all Nigerians who want progress should support Tinubu in his plans to move the country forward. He pointed out, "President Tinubu has shown courage and vision in making tough but necessary choices to reposition Nigeria. What he needs now is our total support, especially from his stronghold in the South-West. Ekiti must not be left behind.”

Arise also expressed happiness with how well the APC Presidential Campaign Council was received in Ekiti State. He noted the large number of party supporters from all 16 local government areas. "Ekiti is fully ready to deliver overwhelming votes for the APC in 2027,” he said.
