The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the final fare for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage is N7,672,822. All intending pilgrims must pay their outstanding balances by 18 September.
Ahmad Umar Labbo, the Director-General of the Board, said that those who paid an initial deposit of N7,500,000 need to pay an additional N172,822 to complete their registration.
Umar Labbo urged Zonal Officers in the state to step up their efforts in informing pilgrims. This is to ensure everyone completes their documentation ahead of the planned departure on 26 September.
He stressed that the 18 September deadline must be followed strictly. He said prompt payment is important for a smooth process.
The Director-General also thanked the zonal officers for their support. He expressed deep appreciation to Governor Umar Namadi for his help, especially in providing loans for Hajj seats to support intending pilgrims in the state.
