NDLEA finds tramadol hidden in black soap containers headed for UK
The NDLEA has intercepted tramadol pills concealed in black soap containers destined for the UK. The agency warns the public to avoid accepting unknown parcels.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has stopped a shipment of tramadol pills hidden inside black soap containers. This was part of an effort to smuggle these illegal drugs to the United Kingdom.
The agency announced the seizure in a narco-trend update shared by its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on his X handle on Sunday.
The NDLEA said its operatives discovered the hidden drugs in Lagos during a routine operation.
Babafemi repeated the agency's warning to the public about accepting parcels or luggage from others without knowing what is inside.

"It’s difficult not to continue to warn people that they should avoid accepting any parcel or luggage from anyone," he wrote.
He explained why this warning is necessary. "Why? Here are pills of tramadol buried in black soap containers to get them to the UK, but the concealment was discovered by #ndlea_nigeria officers in Lagos."
