Heirs Holdings Companies Get Global Accolades

Three companies under Heirs Holdings, Transcorp Group, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), and Redtech, have been recognized in top global and African business rankings. This was reported by The Africa Report and CNBC. This recognition shows Heirs Holdings' plan to build strong businesses in different sectors.

These awards highlight the strength of Heirs Holdings’ varied portfolio. They also show the company’s focus on long-term investments and high operational standards, which are key to Africa’s growth.

Transcorp Group and AEDC made it to The Africa Report’s 2026 500 Business Champions list. This annual ranking includes Africa’s top companies. Their recognition is based on their strong performance and their important role in supporting Africa’s economic growth.

Redtech, a tech company, was recognized in the Payments category of CNBC and Statista’s 2026 World’s Top Fintech Companies. It was chosen from over 3,500 fintech firms worldwide. Redtech is one of just 11 African companies in this year’s list of the world’s top 500 fintech companies. This honor shows how Redtech is helping to improve digital payments and financial systems in Africa.

These recent achievements add to the accolades received earlier this year. Two other companies under Heirs Holdings, Heirs Life Assurance and Heirs General Insurance, along with Redtech, were named among the 2026 Financial Times’ Africa’s Fastest-Growing Companies. These successes highlight Heirs Holdings’ commitment to creating value through a diverse range of top businesses.
