Tinubu Visits Ka'abah, Promises Progress for Nigeria
During his visit to the Ka'abah, President Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to Nigeria's progress and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pray there.

President Bola Tinubu has restated his commitment to Project Nigeria. He aims to build a prosperous country and invest in the future of young Nigerians, all in line with the will of Almighty Allah and the people's wishes.
The president made this known on Monday during his spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. He got a special honor from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who allowed him to lead Nigeria's delegation in prayers inside the Holy Ka'abah.
At the Ka'abah, President Tinubu offered prayers of thanks to Almighty Allah for the chance to serve as Nigeria's President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Sheikh Dahlulah Muthawal of Masjid al-Haram guided the president into the Ka'abah. The president expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for giving him and his team the chance to pray inside the Holy Ka'abah in Makkah.
Tinubu called the opportunity a historic and cherished experience. He highlighted the strong friendship and cooperation between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
"I want to say a big thank you for the faith, for the recognition. I can’t believe the fencing of the Ka’abah is in Green-White-Green, which reminds us of the Nigerian identity."
He continued, "I thank the Crown Prince and all the administrators of the holy land. I thank them for the hospitality and recognition given to me as the leader of the delegation and the country."
President Tinubu acknowledged the challenges Nigeria faces. He believes these can be overcome with faith in God. "I’m grateful forever. I thank the king and the royal crown prince."
He said, "It is an honour that I enjoyed, and it is gracious of them to have allowed me to enter inside the Ka’abah. This is history."
The president prayed for wisdom and strength to continue serving Nigerians. He is confident that his prayers have been answered.
"I asked for wisdom and resilience to continue to serve the people. I know that prayer has been granted. Before the 2023 election, I did the same thing. I asked Allah to bless my Umrah then, and He did. And I promised that I would come back to thank Him," he stated.
He reflected on a message from the Holy Qur'an in Surah Aal-Imran, Verse 26. This verse talks about how Allah gives and takes away power. Tinubu said power is a trust that must be used responsibly and with humility.
"There is no other God but Almighty Allah. He is the giver and the taker. He owns power and authority. He says, 'If I give you, use it well. If you don’t use it in accordance with my dictates, I can take it from you and give it to another person. I am the only One who has that authority,'" he quoted.

Tinubu believes that faith in Allah has strengthened his belief that being Nigeria's leader is a great blessing.
"I have faith in that, and I believe extremely well that He has done me and my country a great favour. Out of many millions of people, to be the President and Commander-in-Chief is a favour that only Almighty God can do to a human being," he said.
The president stressed that his commitment to Project Nigeria has become even stronger. He reassured Nigerians that he will pursue policies for prosperity and national growth.
"My commitment to Project Nigeria is higher. I am determined to usher in prosperity and fully develop the country, consistent with the wish of Allah and the support of the people."
He added, "It is important to put Allah first, then move on. Follow your conscience. Follow the right path that will lead Nigeria to that greatness."
On Nigeria's economic future, Tinubu shared his optimism. He sees the economic foundation as strong and believes the country is coming out of a tough period.
"The foundation is solid, and the economy has come out of the dark tunnel. This is inspiring," he said.
He emphasized that building the nation requires investing in the future of young Nigerians. He said today's leaders' choices will shape how future generations remember them.
"We need to build a future for our youth. If we don’t invest in their future, how do we want to be remembered as leaders 50 years from now? That’s the main thing. So this is a rare privilege to lead the country," he concluded.
President Tinubu promised that his government will keep focusing on strengthening the country's economy. He wants to create more opportunities for young people and help Nigerians reach their potential.
The president thanked Almighty Allah for the chance to lead Nigeria. He is determined to earn the trust the Nigerian people have placed in him through effective leadership and a commitment to national progress.
In an emotional moment, Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Ali Pate, and governors from several states expressed gratitude to Allah and the president for allowing them to pray with him in the holy mosque.
